Our History

Mack Industries has a rich heritage dating back to 1932 when it began as the Mack Vault Company. Founded by John Mack Sr., the company initially specialized in concrete burial vaults and septic tanks while also selling builder supplies and hardware. In 1958, under the leadership of Dick and Jack Mack, Mack Industries and Mack’s Inc. were established, focusing on precast concrete products and builder supplies, respectively.

Throughout the decades, Mack Industries has continuously evolved and expanded its product offerings and geographic reach. From developing various tanks, utility vaults, and wastewater treatment systems in the 1960s to adding drainage products and expanding into new locations in the 1970s, our commitment to innovation and growth has remained unwavering.

Today, Mack Industries is a fourth-generation family business with several plant locations that service Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Our dedication to teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction continues to drive our success and shape our future.
