Color-Crete Concrete Mix Maintenance Tips for Patios, Flooring, Walkways and More

While Color-Crete is highly durable, it still needs to be cared for. Here are some tips that make it easy to maintain Color-Crete structures, such as patios, flooring and walkways.
Apply a sealant
Sealants should be applied to your Color-Crete every two to three years to protect it from the sun and weather. Visit your local hardware or big box store to select the sealant of your choice.
Keep it clean
It sounds simple enough, but it’s important to sweep your Color-Crete regularly and hose it down from time to time. To help avoid stains, remember to pick up spills quickly and wipe down any spots that are left behind.
Avoid chips and scratches
Don’t scratch your Color-Crete. Check your patio furniture for any exposed metal that might come into contact with it. Bicycle kick stands and pedals can also scratch your Color-Crete, so be careful. To avoid chips, don’t use your Color-Crete as a work surface.
